whats happening on the 25th? thought we were meeting on the 21st??

Vw are putting a lot of resources into new engine development..
Hybrids are the way forward though.. Toyota the biggest cash cow car company in the world are in the lead with this though, apparently read somewhere they are 3 years ahead of MB/Bmw or anyone else to get the engines prepared for mass production, Prius, Lexus engines etc..

didn't know this but the Rx300 is the best selling SUV in america.. i think they look crap..

RX's don't look or perform like a proper 4x4 should. I agree, they look bloody awful but I do take my hat off to Toyota for the RX400h.

Like it or not, it's bloody clever. 0-60 in approx. 8 secs but with 25-30mpg is no mean feat.

But as it's from the East, it's probably just another Skoda, eh VA? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I tend to agree. We would still get the tree-huggers complaining that we might hurt a daisy if we go offroad! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yes please!

Got a spanking good property deal bubbling under which should hopefully come off in 6 months or so.

If it does, I am seriously tempted bagging myself a V8D in white with all the S/C trimmings! Mrs S can have the TDV6! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

That would look very good on the ol' driveway...
Im thinking the white looks superb too, keep seeing them on transporters heading out of solihull and there was one parked up on the side of the compound the other day at LR when i went to drop off the cheques. Think people in the past would have all agreed buying white would effect future values, but nowadays most people tend to agree, white is the new black!
