Group chipping session

There is a thread going on the D3 forum about arranging a Group chipping session all together in one place. TurboChip is offering a special discount if we can get enough people together in one place to be chipped enmasse. Would anyone here be prepared to meet up to be "done" somewhere near Newcastle upon Tyne ? RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Have been thinking about it for a while. 2 things 'spose:

1. Mrs S
2. Check with insurance co. (N. Union - Does anyone know their views on this?)
3. Still a little concerned about long term reliability as takin ours to Cyprus. Last thing I want is anything to go pop either there, or on the way

Reminds me of the good old days here. During school holidays, the local muslims will arrange for as many kids as possible for an enmasse circumcision in the village. You can imagine dozens of boys in their 'sarongs' shivering in anticipation of the cut! And some trying to sneak away!!!

This was done the old-fashioned way with just a piece of very sharp bamboo!! No knives! With the kids squirming about, there have been cases of a miss or two ... a slip here and a snip there - ooops! An unkind cut has been known to happen...

The thought of it makes me weak at the knees Bobby................ I had the misfortune to have an accident in Muscat when I was working there on a ship and had to go to A&E at the local hospital.......... on the weekend when there had been a mass circumcision of small boys and it wasn't a happy sight in the accident room I can assure you.
It would appear that there are plenty of "accidents" with the sharp (or maybe not so sharp) blade. I my innocence I asked the nurse (female) why there were so many young boys in A&E, all grasping their nether regions and obviously in agony.......... she was so embarrassed that she had to find a male nurse to tell me, and I nealry threw up at the rather too vivid description that he gave me of what some of those lads had gone through! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thought about that a few times as well. General concensus is around 150bhp up to around 190 mark +lbs ft.

Problem is, I've now done 50k in it, I'll be selling it when we depart these shores and also it's a bit of a noisy already (Especially compared to the silky smooth TDV6). I think it'll get noisier Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
