I recently bought the Karcher K5.70 including Patio Cleaner from Costco
for around £200 (including use of a £50 off voucher).
I am really happy with it, Good power and handy wind away hose.

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver

Pressure washers, in an odd but similar way to vacuum cleaners , are difficult to compare spec for spec. As there are so many factors to consider HP, flow rate, PSI etc etc.

This is a really good link to find a calculation to level the playing field with regards to true performance. Cleaning power.

http://www.diyfaq.org.uk/electrical/pressure_washer_faq.htm

I bought a Karcher petrol one and it is really good.

Just one thing to remember, all the cleaning power comes from the pressure and flow. The detergent (unless pre applied) does NOTHING. It just makes you feel good seeing all the soapy water. All detergents, unless super agressive (which would destroy the paint first) need a level of dwell time to break the grease and grime down first. Pre-spraying the car with detergent and then jetting it away is perfect Thumbs Up

ps, I used to work for a large chemical company in the UK who made many of the Karcher (& Nilfisk) chemicals so I have been in the lab with the chemists and seen the research myself!!!!

Bow down
