Would think thats the best you will get, 50:50 means they have covered their costs and made you feel a little better. At least you will get 12months on it this time

Personally would still get a blanking kit and fit (about £50 for full kit, think Bell Autos do one, but might only be for earlier models) and the jobs done for good and you have no worries with the other side going.

EGR basically re uses exhaust gases to be mixed with air and reburnt again.

The link provided should be specific to your year as their is a slight difference in pre 2007 models
