2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
TDV6 Remap

I'm thinking about a remap for my RRS TDV6. Mainly for economy but the performance bit excites me. Anyone have first hand knowledge of this?
I've negotiated what I think is a great price of £250 for a local guy to come to my house. Any input on this or is it better done in a workshop?

Thanks in advance

Jim

£250 certainly seems cheap.

There's been a huge amount of talk on here about remaps for the RRS over the years, so have a search and see what you find.

We also have a some forum sponsors in the shape of Overfinch, Turbochip and BAS that have successfully provided all sorts of custom maps for our members - very worthwhile chatting to these guys as they are the experts Thumbs Up

Trying to stay impartial, if you are having a remap i would recomend a company that has some positive feedback, if its on a forum or word of mouth from a few trusted people.

And i would like to know that they actualy had premesis and just didnt work mobile because they were mapping cars with a cheap remap tool at your house after finishing work on the day shift at tescos.

You could offer to meet him/her at there place of business and pay by VISA Smile

250 sounds to cheap to be honest.

I will definitely go for BAS very shortly, because it is very trusted around here and, after talking to him, you reckon he is very professional and offers a top product.

No way to save some 200-300 euros and have the risk to damage the car.
my opinion.. Wink My gallery: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=994
