Perimeter Lighting?

Anyone know what this feature is? I'm getting my 09 RRS S/C soon and read that some US versions have this feature. My Lexus S430 has lights on the outside mirrors that light up when it detects my key which I think is a nice feature. Is this what it is? Please comment.

So excited....hope to get my car soon!

United States 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

My US spec RRSSC has those lights on the base of the door mirrors that acyivate when i unlock the car. Brit across the Pond Wink

We call them puddle lights....but never seen them on a RRS in the UK
