Looking for a LHD Range Rover Sport?

Hi Everyone,

New on here, been reading for hours on this forum but not much about LHDs.
I m moving back in Spain in March and looking for a RRS with a budget of £30,000. I m not looking for a new one obviously but one in good nick for the long journey, with the Sat Nav and not too many miles. Not fussy but has to be back. I've looked at Oakleaf but they seem far too expensive for the times. Dont mind how far away either.

Help Anyone?

Welcome Susie - I assume you are looking used. Maybe one of the foreign sorts on here might be able to help you - unless of course you are intent on buying in the UK

2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Lucerne Green

Hi, I bought my LHD RRS from a company called oakleaf. I got a really good deal. They sell nearly new RRS's. Their website is www.oakleaf.net. I also bought a LHD Freelander 2 from a company called Switching Sides and again was very happy with the price and service. I rememebr he had a few RRS's in stock. I think the website is www.switchingsides.co.uk

Sorry Susie,

Just noticed you have already tried Oakleaf...I'm sure they would be open to offers in todays current climate. I assume you are lookng for a UK LHD RRS. Charles Hurst the forum sponsor told me they can get hold of UK LHD vehicles. Probably worth asking. 2008 RRS Supercharged

Angel with the strength of the Euro I would have thought you guys would be over here buying up every LHD car you could find to avoid all those nasty taxes you have over there on big cars................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Here there are big import taxes and also a BIG tax on the first registration esp if it is a diseasel, the car needs to be at least 2 years old to get out of some of the taxes.

I'll keep driving all over europe for at least another 6 months before I import mine Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

we got only 19 % VAT on new cars that's it...... and all my cars are income tax deductible

21%BTW + €4600 because it is a 3.6l diesel (and/or over 155Pk)

Thanks Everyone,

Yeah I ve tried Charles Hurst and they are getting back to me. I m on mobile.de now, seem like good prices some, but as I got a budget of about £34,000 I thought I would get more for my money on a used RRS but they all have done so much mileage. Also do these people understand english if you email them about a car?
