oil change

I want to do my own... I have quite a bit of mechanical knowledge ( I run/maintain my own race car) but are there any tips/ guides on here ? - don't want to make any stupid mistakes that can be avoided.....

oil and filter at the ready.....

The Disco3 website has a fully detailed procedure with photos for an oil and filter change on the TDV6 engine.
