If he bridge the pump relay and the pump works, perhaps you might want to change the relay or at least test that it's working as it should.

I am currently away overseas from home, so I cannot be 100% sure. But something like the GapII tool may be able to monitor fuel pressures in real-time. That would be of help hopefully.

You need to put a pressure gauge onto the fuel rail to make sure that you are “really” getting correct pressure readings

LR time reckoned it was poor oil flow to the bearing shells due to a poor design

But that doesn't explain why some snap cranks but loads of others are completely fine
