I thik that you can program the third button on the key fob to do one of maybe half a dozen things.

One is to open the boot, open just the top part of the boot etc.

I'm sure you can program it to use the access function and will drop the car as you approach and press the button.

Look in the manual, i'm sure that is where i saw it. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Yes, correct. The hazards have to be on so that all those people who could potentially get crushed by walking past whilst you go into access height are all fully warned. Rolling Eyes

How can anyone under the car see the hazards? Confused Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Why don't you just press the suspension down button just before you select Park! It will be down to access level almost as quickly as you can select park.

AlanM - have you tried parking the car in access mode so it is already there when you come back to it. Also by parking the car in access/lowest mode, the ECU thinks that you are going to be away from the car for a longer period and puts all the electronics to "sleep" instead of "standby". This means that if you are parked near to some other RR's, RRS's and D3's when their owners come back to their cars and press the remote fob button, your car doesn't perk up and activate all the systems ready for you to drive off, it will stay asleep until you activate your fob. Leaving the car in "Normal" height in a carpark means the ECU thinks you will be coming back in a short period and leaves all the electronic systems in standby mode ready to come to life instantly. If you leave the car like this for a prolonged period you will suffer shortened main battery life, lowering to access and locking up puts the electonics into deep sleep mode and saves battery power. I think this is the correct interpretation of the system..........

Tim is correct on both counts.
It's good not to drive over any large undulations when in eas "locked mode"
If you drive off and forget to unlock then it will do it by itself and go to normal height....mine at 40Kmh.
