This is a wiring loom fault on the car usually caused by an over stressed loom that has been incorrectly fitted on the production line...it will either be the gearbox loom or the rear-end loom connections. |

I had a customer who had his RR Sport back to the dealer 7 times until eventually they agreed to strip the car down and located the faulty loom...he rejected the car and LR had to replace it!

had message on my screen some time ago, advised dealer that when I swiched on/off it cleared. Was advised that it was a computor hitch in the system and would be ok in the future ???????/ |

can you imagine a rr dealer stripping down the car to try and locate a fault that has only occured once,?if it comes up again, better to call out land rover assistance . If it is a recognized problem, there will be a recall, can you imagine if anything serious happened and lr new about the fault ,the compensation claims would be enormous. Was it ford who had trouble with some tyres a few years ago, cost them millions!
