Ah! I saw Mrs. MDP in the RRS yesterday afternoon. Looks like she was on some sort of a mission Wink RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a £60k pile of cr4p!

Has anybody tried using the scissor jack supplied in the boot? You're given a short "hook" with which crank it up.., impossible. I work out and still had to get a long wrench and socket. Those bloody 20" wheels are a pain too, and just try and getting the wheelnuts off after the YTS at your local Kwik Fit has gunned-them back on. Phew!!! Embarassed

I did the same thing as you Jay, except I'm a lazy bastard and just shoved a screwdriver through the old green badge, then slapped-on four new black-badged caps purchased for about a tenner from good old Uncle Ebay. Took me 3 minutes!! Smile

I like Brian's way of business! How much is your time worth, if it's more than the cost of centre caps then just destroy the old ones!

Actually, I was quite careful. Place the screwdriver against the soft plastic outer and thump with palm of hand. Alloy perfect, mind you, I broke my wrist? There goes my sex-life!!! Laughing Laughing

Just a thought, if you were to get a flat why not put the suspension in to high, put the jack underneath then put the suspension in to access mode, would it then lift the wheel off the ground without the need to jack the car up manually Question RRS TDV6 sold RRS, TDV8 nearly sold, Ferrari 355 sold, Cobra sold,

Sadly, no! But in my defence, it IS in the garage every other week. One day I'll get a chance to just get in and start enjoying the bloody thing. Then I'll tentatively push a few buttons. Mind you, true to form, I bet they'll break!!! Banging Head
