Now that the mother of all fires is burning I have a querry - A few of my local radio stations tell drivers not to use their Air conditioning in the HH area - Why? I can only presume they mean the air controls in the car rather than the A/c itself. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I think what they're getting at is that they still don't know what's in the Black Cloud of Death(TM) hanging over HH and the surround area. This is just CYA advice so that people don't go breathing in unpleasant particles etc. Turn off your aircon, blowers, keep windows up etc....
