Ireland

Also a major pet hate of mine !!!

There’s been all sorts of hoo-hah here in Ireland with new legislation being passed recently banning the use of hand held mobiles while driving, with hefty fines & points on your licence.

But the Irish being the Irish, we don’t follow rules, or obey these pesky little laws. So many are still driving around on the phone…..grrrrrrrrrr Evil or Very Mad

But today “plod” passed me in a patrol car and……………………..yep you guessed the driver was on his phone !!!!

So what hope is there Rolling Eyes

I find that some of the worst culprits are artic drivers, you also see a large proportion of the car drivers that do it don't wear a seat belt either Rolling Eyes

There was a TV programme recently where a lorry driver on the M3 ran into a queue of traffic whilst on the phone, he didn't even touch the brakes - not a pretty result Sad

Seat belts is another hate but not as bad as phones.

End of the day the phone can kill some innocent person.

Where as the no seatbelt kills the person not wearing it........rough justice perhaps Exclamation But very effective. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
