2018 facelift headlight buib removal

Hi Everyone,

I have trawled through trying to find information how to remove the bulb. Cannot seem to find anything. Did normal procedure you'd do on the preface lift. Airbox removal etc. There is only one connector which I guess might go into the bulb but if it did the bulb would relay power to all the functions.

Has anyone replaced one that can advise?

Thanks

Nick

Manual states that Xenon/LED bulbs have to be replaced by a dealer/Authorised repairer.

The manual has instructions as to how to remove the rear lights, but not the front. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Well actually, YouTube is the most valuable tool.

But search for more. Basically, it's a bumper off job. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Aren't these units now fully LED? Is there anything inside that's simply plug-and-play like traditional bulbs? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Some are halogen, I believe. I don't think they're intended to be changed by customers, given you have to take the bumper off to get to the headlights.

I'd have expected post 2018 models to be fully LED though and therefore expected to last for the lifetime of the vehicle. 2021 P400e Autobiography
