Park break release

hi folks had my 2006 4.2 V8 supercharger parked up for a year put a battery on it fired up fine
had it ticking over for 20 minutes went through all the car settings and all is good
went to move it and the back passenger wheel is locked on tried to move forwards and backwards was parked in P position I've put hand break on and off to see if that was problem I was thinking maybe it has come on a stuck on
so question is where is the emergency release cable located and if I pull it can it be reset?

First.

Leave the park brake off over night. (If it’s chocked)
Take the wheel off. Bang the drum with a hammer and see if you can get the brake released.
Put wheel back on to get more leverage with your hands.

it's chocked now with hand break off
was thinking about taking wheel off and hit it with my rubber mallet I've got to see if that would free it up

left the park break off for two days had the wheel off breaks are free think the park break is seized on
is there away to releasing it or is it a calliper and disc off job?

I’d take the disc off.

There is a pull cord near the gear selector. It needs pulling hard. I’d only do this as a last resort though. As it could be expensive to recover from.

I doubt pulling the emergency release will help if it's the actual mechanism in the wheel unit itself that is seized. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Agree with @RRSTDV8, the levers on the shoes are likely seized. Banging on the outside of the drum area is about your only hope till you get it to free up enough to get the rotor to turn. Once the rotor can turn you can get the adjustment window aligned to back off the star wheel adjuster. Had to do this not too long ago on a Disco 4, it’s not fun, but not impossible. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

is the adjustment window the little hole in the hub ?
I've got a grub screw that holds the disc in place and noticed a spare hole

Yes, but not going to be of much use if you can't turn the disc to line it up with the adjuster yet, as suggested just give the disc a few good whacks with something like a copper mallet or dead blow hammer.

I did try to smack it with my heavy rubber mallet will have another go at weekend
I'm hoping the handbrake hasn't gone on one side ?

all done loosened the disc and moved with bar then placed wheel on and turned a few times replaced everything and took for test run and all was OK
now have this come up when I turn hard left lock

the wheels are straight but the computer is saying the off centre can it be reset with diagnostic tool

Need to have the Steering Angle Sensor recalibrated. This takes some sort of diagnostics capable of doing this. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

managed to sort it out with a hawkeye like you said it needed re calibration doing on it
