FBH screw up

Was having an HVAC issue on my personal car (2011 L320 3.0 TDV6) so using JLR-SDD I configured the HVAC module which did an update, all good and well. Decided to update the Aux Heater while in there and it’s all gone sideways. It refuses to update and now the module is not doing anything. Any suggestions? Tried taking the battery terminals off and touching them together. The fault is U3000-49 Aux Heater module.

I do have the timed heat setup activated, should I go into the CCF and deactivate this then try reconfiguring the module? When trying to reconfigure it lists one set of software and no update needed then two unknown software files. I’m assuming this is the issue, but not sure how to resolve it. My gut tells me it’s park/timed heat related and likely looking for additional modules it can’t find. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

A baffling update; I had to walk away from it since I needed to earn my keep at the shop. When I parked the car the timed heat button was blacked out, as it had been since the whole module fiasco started this morning. However, when leaving work it was back to normal and allowed me to set the timers. So I did and will wait till the morning to see if it’s back in the game or still having issues.

The initial issue stems from me removing the A/C panel without disconnecting the battery one day and when I plugged it in the timed vent kicked on. Since then the timed heat would run when it was below about 8° and the timed vent would run when above 8°. This made it fairly chilly in the car which is the opposite of what I want. Hopefully it’ll be back to timed heat below 13° and timed vent above 13°. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Will try that later today after the car cools down from the drive to work. Just odd I can’t even get it to program.

Thanks Col. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
