Oil Change Warning / Advice

Hi Everyone,

3.0 SDVT currentlly on 88 K just performed 10K service early. Full Land Rover SH until last 3 services I have completed. Both previous done using vacuum extraction method.

Noticed the 90* connector is starting to leak. Not sure if it is a crank case breather or turbo return hose. Advice on what would be welcomed. I didn't follow up to check where it was routed.

Removed the connector and cleaned it. Will naturally replace but would imagine if it failed would cause catastrophic damage. Would suggest you all check this connector during the next service.

Might anyone have the part number or know the exact size of if the connector can be purchased separately?

Thanks

Nick

Following research the actual part number is LR054148 or LR035439

It is the end of the hose connecting to the sump that the other end is where you preform the oil extraction from. It would appear you cannot buy the connector alone, with the cost of the whole pipe being about £130! Just need to figure out the size and details of the fitting which is the only leak.

Thanks

Nick
