Latest battery options

Done a search for later posts before you askšŸ˜ My battery is four years old now and though still cranking well Iā€™m getting HDC errors on cold mornings so it may be getting weak, Iā€™m set up for charging at home and keep it topped up.

What are the latest options seems Exide EA1000 has gone out of favour, currently running a Lion from Euro which to honest has been great so may just go for another? Steve

Alternatively try a numax if itā€™s not much more money than Lion

Could buy from Tayna

Numax is a marine battery which is tested at 0 deg c rather than the -18 c for a vehicle battery.
So it looks better than it is.
Cranking amps means the current to reduce it to 6v in 3 min.at -18 deg C

Good Con dont go there Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

I had a numax battery that lasted 13 years. (And still going when changed!)
Ok it wasnā€™t a Landrover. But am happy with them.

My lad has a trade card for Halfords so got this a couple of weeks ago (certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near that) as I was going to visit relatives and they had one in.
