Hi guys,

Posting for a friend who doesn’t understand cars. I sold him my old 2012 L320 SDV6 5 years ago and he’s been told he needs a new engine in it (prob snapped crank I guess although he doesn’t know).

He’s been quoted £12k for a new engine fitted. Car’s prob worth half that but he loves it otherwise so does anyone know any decent specialists who fit second-hand or recon engines to these cars? If so, what’s the rough cost?

He’s based in North Oxfordshire.

Any recommendations highly appreciated.
