Howdy all - hoping if anyone has any thoughts on the following.

Partner borrowed my RRS 4.2 and on the return journey there was a sudden loss of power on the motorway.

No error message on screen but car appeared to be in limp home mode. Pulled over and restarted and all back to normal.

I’ve checked the self diagnostic on the secret menu and nothing found. I cleaned out the MAF last summer time so assume it won’t be that again?

Car is only really driven at weekends and a monthly long distance trip. I drive sensibly, occasionally it’s a little bit more spirited but deffo don’t thrash her…. I mean I got nearly 28mpg on a run from London to Cardiff the other week haha.

I’m getting her booked in for an engine service soon so any advice ahead of that would be greatly appreciated.

I’m used to my Audi a4’s

My car drives when I put my foot down it says special features off, then the lights between us on the middle caseing where the special features are lit up they go off and the car looses all power!!

Can anyone help please?? No engine light on just comes up that then have to switch car off and on again for it to go back to Normal
