It’s been a while but back in a RRS.

This was the last time I owned a RRS https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic50501.html
Since then, I’ve had 3 years in an EV, 2 years in a hybrid bmw. Today I’m back. Just bought myself a 2017 5.0v8 supercharged Autobiography, 39k miles.. Been pretty well looked after although it looks like the previous owners couldn’t park even with the cameras..lol. So waiting on them fully refurbishing the alloys and so will be collecting the car next Wednesday.

One thing though, can anyone recommend insurance companies? The prices I’m getting an eye watering for a 44 yr old.

Should have kept the original 1, yes insurance for newer sports is a killer at the moment.

It was marmite, people either loved it or hated it. Unfortunately it was costing a fortune as my commute went from 45 to 80 miles a day. Now my commute is 4 miles a day, 4 days a week so I couldn’t give a hoot what mpg ile be getting..lol 2017 5.0 v8 Supercharged Autobiography

As above, there a few threads about the current insurance game for newish+ cars and location. This is across the LR models, so can be a bit of a shock. Cazy times. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Nice looking car. Same interior as mine. Not many with this interior colour.👍

After seeing it by accident (the car that is) I saw the interior and loved it. I actually went to look at a Jaguar I-pace, and came out with this..lol
There’s one more on auto trader at the minute in Colchester Bentley, 2017 with 28k miles the only thing stopped me was it’s registration date was 31,3,2017 meaning it’s on the £600 tax, the one I got registered 2 months later and only £180 a year! 2017 5.0 v8 Supercharged Autobiography

We were looking for a replacement car for my mum. Chatting away with the salesman, h3 said at the moment the i-pace is the fastest depreciating car of them all. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

The one I was looking at was a 21 plate for £35k with 11k miles. It’s original selling price 2 years ago was £74k with the options it had. So I can quite believe it. 2017 5.0 v8 Supercharged Autobiography

£8 a week extra for RFL would not be a game changer for me.

In fact it it was, I would ask myself if I could actually afford to run a RR at all. 2006 RRS 2.7 HSE.

Moneys not an issue by any means, but thanks for judging and jumping to conclusions. Thumbs Up
I just begrudge paying over the odds to this rip off government. How can 1 day justify paying the difference between £600 to £180.
So out of principle the less I pay to them, the better.
I actually pay less for this RRS than I did for my hybrid bmw 530e also which makes zero sense either. 2017 5.0 v8 Supercharged Autobiography

I begrudge paying over the odds for anything.
Even if I can well afford it, the feeling of being ripped off and treated like a mug just irritates the hell out of me. RRS HSE Dynamic SDV6 2014
