just had rear prop-shaft replace with brand new one from the UK, the vibration it had has now completely gone however i have a slight hum between 50mph to 80mph and its diffidently not the wheel bearings as a mechanic i know what wheels bearings noise makes, i did have a low mileage 2.7 engine fitted 5 months ago and the hum was not there before, its not the diff or gearbox, whats the sign the front propshaft is on its way out do they start squeaking, the car has done 400,000km or 280,000 miles, not sure how long the front prop can possibly last in mileage, starting to think its just the characteristics of the engine. any ideas chaps. 09 2.7v6 RRS
