Central locking

Hi strange issue i had the main battery changed by the RAC via my battery cover
a couple of weeks ago thank god it didn’t cost me anything but the old battery just died and wouldn’t crank the engine over.Since the old battery was disconnected and new one fitted my central locking from the key fob has gone funny. All the doors lock on the key fob bar the drivers but alarm works fine as if I dont have fob near the car I can open the drivers door and alarm goes off. Now if when leaving the car I press the manual button to lock the door above the handle it locks fine. Is their a sync I need to carry out or do to re programme fob so to speak .As ever any advice appreciated Bow down

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

I had the exact same issue,, apart from changing the battery, then started having trouble locking any of the doors and also alarm randomly going off which I eventually found to be the bonnet switch. Bridged it out for a while and it just about fixed the locking issue and no random alarm. I still think there is still an issue with the drivers door latch though as sometimes if I double press I can hear the latches operate but the mirrors do not fold in which they normally do when double locking. If I press to open then close again the the latches drop and mirrors fold. I'm sure the drivers door latch is a known problem as they get older. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Hi appreciate response I sat in car door closed and activated the locking with fob. I noticed the internal lock unlock switch didn’t move fully and I needed to push it a bit to manually put in in its fully closed position .I think I need a new actuator mechanism as it looks like mine has gone faulty Big Cry
