United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue
Side steps, step aside

I knew my side steps had a bit of corrosion with them being 6 years old. I then started to get flakes on the driveway. So I had a quick look to see, and they were atrocious. When I was getting out of the car there was a creak and I noticed the upper foot plate was separating from the front and rear ends. So they had to go and so they were removed. The screws in the rear arch were rounded of by the garage who fitted them prior to me purchasing the car. They've now gone and I actually think the car look better for it.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

My old TDV8 came with steps which I liked at the time - they made getting in and out easier without sliding off the seat edge. But I took them off after they got a bit bent off road. Like you, I think the vehicle looks better without them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
