That may be the case, although the dealer had previously indicated that the FE order was "confirmed" and just a few weeks ago when the 24MY was announced, said that LR were committing to build all FE cars as 23MY....

So either the dealer isn't being honest, or hasn't been well informed by LR.

Yesterday, LR customer services said to me that LR do not offer a "price protection guarantee" at all... Despite the dealer saying that they do, others on here saying the same and LR Bulletins to dealer networks on the subject of price protection easily available with a 10 second web search....

Clearly LR are either not being honest, or their Customer Care team haven't got a clue what's going on either.

Absolute shambles.

Ordered a P440e Autobiography the first week of December 22 and given a delivery date of Sept 30th 23, which I though optimistic based on what I had heard around, then few weeks later I was told it would probably be Dec 23, which I thought stood a change of being hit.

I picked may daughter up from the dealership last weekend after she dropped her RRS P400e off and thought I would have a word with the sales guy I ordered it with and he tells me that the engine is now the P460 variant, the price has gone up and it will probably be around April to May 24 for delivery.

As much as I do like the new RRS, I am at the point of erring to the side of cancelling it and forgetting getting one totally now and I am certainly not paying the stupid prices the dealerships are trying to flog the used ones for just to get one.

Drawback is though, I do bloody well like them and I am going round in circles trying to find something else I might like. 2023 D350 FIRST EDITION, SANTORINI WITH CLOUD/EBONY

I may be wrong but for anyone who may be interested I have just noticed that ROCKAR appear to be offering a number of NEW pre-configured Range Rover Sports for delivery in 1 - 2 weeks..........

I have not looked at the detail so not sure if prices are at list but it may be worth a look???

I have used ROCKAR for purchase of my previous 2 Sports and their service has been excellent!

Hi JDP, I have also booked a spot on the factory tour. I got in touch with the Range Rover Studio in Solihull and they have arranged for my car to go down the production line on the same date!

I have now been on the VIP factory tour. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I was able to see my vehicle progress down the assembly line! Would highly recommend

Ordered a P460e Autobigraphy early in August this year - happy enough for the 18 to 24 month delivery as I have a good D5 HSE Lux. However got a telecon two weeks ago advisng that they had a cancelation and would I like it early November !! Guess what I said .............

I reckon there will be loads soon and the “18-24m” tag line will become bollax. Seeing and hearing of a lot of cancellations now (compared to before)

It is a great experience - you get really well looked after. We went for a 1 o' clock start, had a very nice lunch, then went to see the car on the production line, had a tour of the factory, the history of Range Rover etc. It is very personal and exclusive, you get your own guide for the duration of the tour.

You can take up to 2 guests for £100 each additional.

And you get to see your car (and the factory at work).

Well worth it!
