L494 Sunroof and sunroof blind

I have a Feb 15 (pre facelift) RRS 3.0 SDV with pan roof

The sunroof blind is stuck open and won’t close, and now the sunroof won’t open either - it moves back an inch and the closes itself.

It did something similar a year ago and the reset procedure of hold down close for 20 secs worked. It’s not working this time.

Any ideas? Thanks

Maybe disconnect battery for 10 minutes and reconnect might help clear any fault code.

Thanks - I’d be Censored it that I’d lose all my settings at the same time - seats, stereo, radio/tv stations and also Fek something new up.

Would I lose all that info do u think?

You would only lose the stored DAB channels.

Or you can pull the fuse for the sunroof/blind 1st for 10/20 mins see if that helps

Great call on the fuses - I’ll try that. Don’t suppose u know which number fuses and which fusebox? I’m at work and could have a crack at this before I go home

Not sure pal, google fusebox locations l494 and you should find something.

There are two fuses in the passenger fuse box.
Numbers 7 and 28 one for the blind and one for the sunroof

Pulled the fuses, still no joy. Fek. Got a feeling this is going to be messy
