Is the Air suspension fault an MOT fail?

Hi All,

I have gone to drive my car today and my compressor stayed on longer than normal and then just cut out and got the yellow light with normal height only.
Plugged it in and got C1A20-64 code so it could be the compressor.
I just want to know if it is a straight MoT fail as my Mot is booked for tomorrow? Sad

I don't think they function the suspension system as part of the MOT so can't see it being a problem,, if only normal height is available why should it be an issue,, thats what the suspension is set at during normal road use anyway. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

If there's a warning light on the dash then I think you'll struggle. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I was hoping that because normal height is what you use to drive that it would be ok but on the other hand I thought any warning light was an automatic fail.
Usually I would Mot the car 3-4 weeks in advance just incase it needed any work doing but as the wife wanted to go away over the last couple of weeks I’ve only got a few days left.
So looks like it might be an expensive time at the garage rather than attempt a rebuild it myself.

Mine had an advisory a few years back , just said that the instrument panel indicates a suspension fault didn't fail it, everything was working normally .

I can confirm that the suspension light is an advisory and not a fail.

That's good news. I guess the fact that the suspension won't raise to off road height isn't relevant to an MOT. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
