my car is also a 21.5MY yet I constantly get over 28 miles of range (around 25 in the real world) even in the winter for me the average is around 30 or 32 on the odd occasion. Might just be because it is a new car. I use a PodPoint 7KW charger. |

I think that this is something I could not live without on any future car. Excellent feature, even if you can't set the temperature. |

Yeah it odd and surely a design miss. I like most people I'd expect charge the car overnight to take advantage of the cheaper electricity tariffs. This means first thing on a chilly morning when you're most likely to want to heat the car not being able to set the temperature with the electric climate control. I could obviously go out and remove the cable but could also just start the engine myself if doing that and defeats the purpose. What I will say is that if I set the temperature with the ICE climate then move to the electric and back the setting is lost so not sure setting in the ICE control impacts the electric. Anyhow whilst it's been cold in the mornings simply turning on the electric climate does seem to warm the car up after roughly 10mins so can't complain too much just don't know how I'd cool it in the summer with electric climate ! |
