Telescopic rear struts for boot lid. Where to buy?

One of the telescopic struts has gone rusty and looks like lost it’s fluid so looking to replace. Where can I buy them from as I have no idea what they are actually called?!

They are on the one part boot lid from a 61 plate RRS Sport Lux with the automatic boot opener. Sorry for not very clear description of part! Whistle

Google LR062078 I think it may be what you are looking for, not sure if they are handed but don't think so or cheapest place to buy.

Thanks! Wow they are expensive! I’ll have a look to see if it is branded. Not noticed but it is covered in rust and fluid so I’ll give it a wipe down.

I might give the local scrappers a try too. Thumbs Up

Apologies just read your post again...did’nt See the bit about automatic tailgate opening... for those that have the original type gas struts see below!

Try these...they are excellent and cheap! They can also do uprated ones with a higher pressure if you have things like ladder
access racks fitted....
