United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

But the thing is, the 5.0 s/c engine won't be available for much longer.

What do you mean?

What will they put in the SVRs and stuff?

I assumed the 4.4 SDV8 was going to be retired soon, but not the 5 litre . . .

Do you have any timescales? Would be a shame to see that engine go.

The 5.0 V8 is due to "end" next year I believe.

Rumours abound of a 4.4l V8 (BMW sourced?) to replace it, but the only official news is of the I6. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I believe so, you would have to check the exact date, but the Ford-built 5.0 V8 is coming to an end for sure. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Current deal is for renewal December 2020, and JLR said a while back they wouldn’t.

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

It's such shame that the 5.0 supercharged is finishing but maybe it's time to go bigger 6.2L supercharged or twin turbocharged Mr. Green or something like this similar to the jeep trackhawk.

I guess by 2020 we have to have some kind of mild hybrid in everything is that correct? I'm sure I heard by 2020 all car manufacturers can't just build a normal combustion engine they have to have a bit of electric power too ? I could be wrong on this though ?

Tom. Indus Silver / Santorini Black Roof MY16 Autobiography Dynamic Hybrid 354bhp. 22" Style 504 Alloys. Lunar Grey / Ebony Seats and Interior. That's why the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic that I've been eyeing up has been set as a 12 month limited run - makes more sense now. Will skip that one then lol.

Actually, considering it was being very heavy-handedly thrown round a track for thrills for the camera, I thought it did more than reasonably well! MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I do like the Trackhawks a lot but standard Jeeps suffer eyewaterinw depreciation and I doubt this one will be any different.

When they come onto the 2nd hand market though that's a different story!!
