Hi I'm looking at a 3.0 litre V6 rrs 2011, it's done about 85k and has full service history what's the general thought on the crank snapping engine seizing issues?

Do you think it might be past the danger time as I have read that many went at very low miles ?

i believe there is no set time they either go or dont it seems

I purchased mine 12 months ago except mine was 2010 my and had 43,000 miles with full service. I paid £18,000 which after months of searching was the right car at a good price. That seems a good price albeit I don't know on the effect of prices over the last 12 months that the diesel laws have had. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I have been offered an se version at 12k with 50 k on the clock full history and cambelts just done so fairly tempted by that as well

Which model year SE is it? There was a big spec change for them in 2007/2008 to include nav which on the early production cars was an option, same with Bluetooth/handsfree 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
