Seeing how JLR respond to this particular situation will be instructive.

Well a week since it happened, Not really sure whats going on now, the local dealer can't find details of the first service, although we have managed to get hold of the details of the warranty work that has been done on the vehicle, I have spoken to the supplying dealer yesterday who was really very helpful and said that I should have been told that the service history was now all on line and I have to register, which I have now done - the history shows from when I brought the vehicle which is odd I know the car has had at least three different number plates since it was knew (2 x private, I x original) I would have thought the service details where on the vin number though! Also I wonder why they (LR) would carry out warranty work if the car had not been serviced as per the manufacturers guidelines - so at the moment my local dealer wants to wait until we have the missing info. About to get into a sport |

Hi no not at the moment, were waiting for the details/proof of the cars very first service as its not showing on the on line service history - everything else is previous warranty claims, service before I brought the car, the warranty work it had in January just missing the first service - until we have this my local dealer can't progress with the paperwork to JLR About to get into a sport |

I really hope you can find the proof of that first service. Who did you buy the car from? Was it a dealer? If so are they doing the legwork?

I am not going to go into too many details but I just want to say (I know they look at the forum) a big thank you to Jaguar Land Rover UK CRC with the help and assistance throughout from when I first contacted them until a very satisfying outcome today - I am looking forward to driving the car again very soon.
