Hi folks my wife and I have been discussing changing our summer alloys from the L494 520 style 20 inch x 8.5 which came with car. My wife is quite partial to the Stormer alloys (RRS1) in 20 inch which I also like. Our alloys are in perfect condition fitted with Michelin Latitude sport m+s tyres (255/55/20 110Y) with 6mm tread across the board.

20 inch sport alloys normally wear 275 40 20 those tyres will throw out your speedo wont they

they should be 275/40/r20 as that is on mine if not, you will have to recalibrate the the instument cluster via diagnostics machine

Yep you are both right don't forget these came of a RRS2 so it throws out the speedo by about 5mph over when fitted to RRS1. The tyre size is correct for the alloy. I did an earlier post after I joined and it was explained to me then by Tim in Scotland that these came from a L494 and fitted to my L320.
