10-15 as an average me thinks but you don't buy them for fuel economy Thumbs Up

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

I get an average of 17l/100km (17mpg) in my 2010 TDV8. The car does two 15km (9.3 miles) trips per day with a 7-8 hour gap between them (two school runs).

The 15.6 is mainly town driving is sport mode making a lot of noise with the window down.I have yet to go on a long run.

2008 TDV8 over 2 years ownership and covering a total of 28348 miles average is 25.12mpg. not much motorway, some 40 miles trips across country, and often short trips to town of 4 miles or so. (assuming my maths is OK Rolling with laughter ) Robin

It will cost you more like for like but honestly, doing that little mileage, I would ALWAYS go for the petrol variant.

Even diesels aren't exactly cheap to run and ;et's face it = if economy were the main factor you'd not be considering a RRS in the first place!

Get the 5.0 SC, turn off the MPG display & drive with a constant grin on your face even if it is coupled with a hole in your wallet Thumbs Up

The man-maths missed out the additional VED payable on the S/C over the TDv8........ not sure how much more it is but the CO2 emissions of the S/C are quite a bit more than the TDv8. For the annual miles though as stated above the petrol is always better for low miles journeys. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Good point Tim. My 2008 TDV8 of course gets clobbered with the full wack presumably you are saying that the later TDV8s do better on CO2 emissions. Robin

Same for me. Much less painful paying monthly though Very Happy Steve.
