United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey
Warranty Again !

Hi What do you guys think of this service history for warranty ??

13/3/14 16,264 miles 1,264 over
14/1/15 27,630 2 months early
26/2/16 38,812 2 weeks late
24/3/17 48,209 .

I understand 1 month either side or 1k either side

History is with main dealer

Will be fine then.
Call the other dealer, ask service dept to review its history over the phone with you.... Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Ah. I think I'd prefer to buy something this expensive from a main dealer but I'm a bit risk averse Rolling with laughter Whistle Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Just found out the renewal was in June 2016 for 2 years, so LR must have thought the service record was ok ??!!

Hi,
I PM'd land rover CRC last week about a similar issue regarding warranty, but sadly No reply yet Rolling Eyes

As I understand it the Manufacturer warranty has already expired but the Approved warranty is still valid if the service schedule has been observed during the warranty period.

Thumbs Up

But is an Approved Warranty still valid when a vehicle is purchased from another dealer? I thought they were only transferable on a private sale? Dealers have different liabilities etc. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

Here is the Approved Warranty link - http://www.usedvehicles.landrover.co.uk/pd...rranty.pdf

And on page 27 (pdf page 29) the transfer request clearly says "There is no charge for this service however it is only available for private sales" 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine
