RR SPORT FACTORY SPECIFICATION

Hi, I understand there is/was a free website where you can obtain the full factory specification of a particular Land Rover vehicle. If this is still available can anyone provide website details. Thanks

Don't you have to pay?

This is another site, put your vin number in...

Can anyone decipher my VIN to finally resolve my BT problem? My car does have the steering wheel buttons, however there is no BT module in the space provided (just the TMC thing). So I want to know if it WAS supplied with the factory BT, or not.

The MOST optic fibre cable doesn't seem to be BT-enabled as well, because it's only there for the TMC and there are not other connectors (I assume the loop is terminated at the TMC receiver?) Regards etc.,

Yes, the buttons for the phone and voice control are there, the microphone is there and working, the factory highline 6CD/radio displays "no phone fitted" on relevant keypress, there's nothing inside the armrest. Regards etc.,

I had that on ours (2007 MY)

The screen showed no phone fitted until I went to pair my phone. It needs to "see" the phone to connect

see if this helps

you have to right click and tell it to open the part of the document in another tab to see the info Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

well if there isn't anything under the arm rest (like a little connector dock) it just sounds like the steering wheel has been replaced, at some point.

Thanks, I had a read. I am pretty sure there is nothing to connect to (no module in the boot...) Perhaps it's stuck somewhere elese, but I had three different phones search for the BT and neither did show an available BT speakerphone device.
Also I didn't know the phone dock was an integral part of the factory BT... The steering wheel - I doubt it was changed, the voice control works as intended. Regards etc.,

Even without any factory phone, the voice button is fitted and functions

Aaah OK. But since the phone buttons are there and touching any of them results in the headunit displaying "no phone connected" I assume at least the steering wheel → HU part of the BT system works. So I will need to get ahold a BT module, hook it up temporarily instead of the TMC receiver and hope it works. Shall it connect, I will need an additional MOST optic fibre to add the BT module to the loop and I'm gonna be happy? Regards etc.,

I would have a read over here:

Apparently you can just fit the BT module at the front of the car and connect a few wires up.
