United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Really glad you're happy with it, I know how you feel Smile

I've had mine a couple of months now, it Censored out the rh inlet manifold a week after I bought it, I was more upset that it was off the road for 2 weeks than the big bill, because I love how it drives.

You've owned your older model range rover sport for 3 months, come back in 12 months!! Yes you probably only paid 6k-7k for it so its more of a run A bout, but lets wait and see how things work out for you..

What a stupid thing to say! Have you bought a lemon in the past and been stung by big bills and are now bitter and twisted? Why try and turn a bit of good news into something else. I've spent good money on a car which is performing well. It isn't an ex council estate car and it isn't a run a bout!

I thought I'd say how happy I was with my car and not all are as bad as some of the bad reports. Wish I'd not bothered.

No offence meant here, but your car is 12 years old. It is a run about.

So you bought the car but can't afford the correct maintenance, I think you've unintentionally proved my point. When it needs a 1000 repair (it will) your going to owner repair it. Good luck selling it.

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black

As it states in the warranty as long as it is serviced by a vat registered garage and correct procedures followed it will be fine and i know i can do at least as good a job as previously said you seem to nave very negative thoughts about a few things when this is a friendly helpful forum that in this form and disco 3 has helped me and by the way mine was a low mileage 2005 supercharged which is not a banger or a run around and still cost quite a pretty penny Rolling Eyes

Methinks someone on here is on a one-man crusade to drive down prices. Whistle

Otherwise, Why join a forum to bad mouth what you aspire to?

I've had a RRS for 6 years and needed nothing but normal servicing and maintenance.

Are you always an offensive tw@t or do you save it just for this forum? Perhaps you should Censored off and leave us all to enjoy our runabouts...

If you could see the receipts for mine you'd see that I can afford to maintain it even though it's now only worth about 8-10k and thus a "runabout". It was significantly more than that when I bought it cash nearly 6 years ago, of course. Anyway, Censored off, there's a good chap. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I wonder if it's the arsehole who was on here last year trolling on about how the prices were going through the floor. Probably been sent to his room by his Mum... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I am glad you are enjoying your car. Like you I bought a 2005 RRS (but a TDV6) in November and am very pleased with it. Although it has a good service history, I have done a couple of things to future proof it and it is running really nicely. Thumbs Up
