Scotland 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
[For Sale] ACM Audio Connectivity Module RRS SOLD

Selling on my ACM module as my 2008 has an upgraded wiring loom with different connectors due to having Bluetooth and electric steering column adjustment .
.
Allows you to connect an iPod directly to the car system and operate via controls on the steering wheel, also adds a USB slot in the glovebox (vital to charge just about everything!)

Photos are in my gallery, genuine LR part. Part number is LR006972. Easy fit after removing stereo (I did this no problem with no prior experience)

No longer available new so quite hard to get hold of and did sell for over £200.

Will accept £100 plus RD postage at cost

PM me if you require more photos or info

Cheers

Just Module plugs, remove from back of stereo, attach one end of ACM loom to Stereo and other to original car wiring loom (plug and play effectively) USB connector is standard female connector so you can attach whatever lead you need, iPod dock is 30 pin so either use standard iPod or there is a connector on eBay that could give you a lightning connector.

There's some photos in my gallery or in the advert. I've found the installation instructions as well so you could probably do the whole thing in a couple of hours.

Will it play off a USB stick?

Does it display on the screen?

It doesn't display on the screen (don't know of any system that does for pre 2011) and I don't know if you can play from a USB as that was never a consideration as all my music is on iPods.

I'll take it. :£100 delivered and saves the eBay charges Wink

But it will fit your 2008 car as well. Steering electrics has nothing to do with the stereo connections. They're the same stereo for all years pre facelift.

Assuming the stereo on your earlier car had the 0-9 buttons on it (as your new one does) Bodsys Brake Bible

All,

After a long and very informative conversation with Bodsy I have discovered that the connections will only work with a Low Line stereo (ie with the 6 buttons below the CD slot) so please be aware if wanting to buy. This explains why it wouldn't fit my 2008 model with the Hi Line stereo. That said it would be a great (even better) addition to the lower/older spec stereo !

Unless of course you already have the Hi Line spec wiring fitted !!

Will also post on the Disco 3 website if Martin will let me ? Very Happy
