Towing

Hi. I've just got myself a 2014 RRS and we are now getting prepared for caravan season. My old car had vehicle specific mirror extensions and wondered due to wing mirror shape what people had bought and from where. Also. If anyone is selling a set lol.

Thanks. Peter

I use extension mirrors made by Milenco. Work well no issues as far as I am concerned.
Here is a link. http://www.milenco.com/products/mirrors/grand-aero-3-xxl-mirrors

Cheers

We changed from a 2012 RRS to the new shape 2015 model. The previous car had car specific Land Rover branded mirrors. These did not fit to 2015 car so we went back to Milenco. I must admit that I felt the previous car's mirrors were better. I notice that pko has purchased genuine LR mirrors. Can I ask where did you buy them as I have been unable to find 2015 car specific LR mirrors. 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic SDV6

Hi, purchased from my local dealer, Hunters of Norwich. I bought them a couple of years ago for my hse sport, black edition, & kept them for use on my current 2015 model & they fit perfectly & are very robust. I believe they are a universal model as when I first saw them they were on a new disco in the showroom. The part number is DK6M-17652-AA, if this helps. http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ItemFiles/Manuals/VPLVT0080.pdf current 2015 hse dynamic, grey.

These are the mirrors that we had for our 2012 RRS. I will go back and check them but I found that when I came to fit them on the current 2015 car, the inner strap was too short, and the outer strap just slipped around the mirror as the strap was tightened. I wrote to the manufacturers, Reich in 2015 advising them of the problem, but heard nothing. These posts nudged me into sending a further E Mail to them today to see if they have done anything to ensure that their mirrors for the RRS fit in a more secure manner. 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic SDV6

Hi Midsman. I can understand what you are saying. When I first fitted them to the new 2015 I thought the same & even secured them with an extra fitting for the first couple of times just to be be safe, but honestly, after a lot of towing, I can say they have never moved or given me any cause for concern. The inner strap is close to it's maximum adjustment but it is secure. regards p current 2015 hse dynamic, grey.

I've got Millenco mirrors on my 2011 Sport and I've found they work well.

Just ordered a 2017 MY Sport today so hope they'll transfer across because now I'm skint!

Robert
