My MY17 RRS

After months of waiting, picked up on Friday and have put a few miles on it over the weekend.
New to the brand - what a car

A big thanks to James and his team over at LR Park Royal
for making the RRS handover real special

Stunning car, love the wheels!

How are you finding the new ICTP system?

Also, do let us know how the fuel economy looks once you have had an opportunity to put some miles on her...

Thanks all

Yes I've gone with FFRS turbine wheels and a svr front grill
All original Range Rover parts

Initial impressions after a few hundred miles behind the wheel are

-In dash Satnav is spot on and very good
-New centre screen is a big improvement over system in demo car I drove but needs getting used to, wouldn't recommend using while driving until its second nature - to many functions to tap into
-Effortless to drive - wife and kids prefer sport over the porsche 4x4s I've had in the past

But the one thing that stands out for me and I'm really enjoying and annoying my neighbours with is the meridian sound
system - basebastic

Fuel wise on mixed driving local and motor way yet to better 28 mpg average
Maybe this will improve as time goes on

Likewise James, will pop in to say hello when I'm next heading into London town. Thumbs Up

As for RE66ELL junior - over the shock, loved the surprise and now see me as a rather cool dad to hang out with Laughing

Congrats. Thumbs Up

Not a fan of intermixing non-standard bits onto a car it's not, the original looks just perfect!

Enjoy. Gone:

Your RRS looks perfect!
Great and subtile upgrade without any 3rd party downgrading appeal.

I don't see the discussion about non spec. for the grille, it just looks better than the standard grille and the same design was available for the previous models in black (black Edition) and silver (autobiography).
I know from LR that they just did not brought at the begin it to the other L494s, to give the SVR the better look for the launch.
The bigger facelift will bring this design back for all and also for the D5 it is already to order.

By the way, my dealer made a special ATB grille (painted SVR grille) for my Dynamic Hybrid, as I wanted back the oldscool front appeal from my previous RRS (all parts on my car still genuine LR.. Wink

Another very nice rrs

Put a few more miles on the car today and had to fill the sport up for the first time with fuel.

First tank gave me approx 420 mls with mixed driving.
Not knowing What to expect is this in the ball park for a full tank of diesel?

Thanks

Close up of the svr grill
