Have I got the correct wheels and tyres on my TDV8

Hello, I have a RRS tdv8 07, it had 275x45x20 wheels and tyres, that we a bit knackered, so I have put some 2014 275x21x45 wheels off a 2014 RRS they look and drive great, but I have been told that I shouldn't run it on those, can anyone offer any advise if this is right or wrong and if wrong, what would be the problem thanks

I have been running 275/45 x 21 on my RRS1 for over 18 months and have had absolutely no issues at all it is MY13 car not that should make any difference, they will however make your speedo read wrong when you are doing 30mph on the clock the car will actually be doing around 31/32mph at 50mph it will be around 52/53.

Cheers

The only thing I would suggest is you do tell your Insurance Company you have fitted different non standard wheels to cover yourself.

They will only knock your speedo out by a couple of mph.But speedos run about 10% under actual speed so with the 21's it will probably be more accurate.
