TDV8 leaking coolant

hello all

I have a 07 V8 mileage is high 280km

the last 2 months I have being getting errors on screen "check coolant level" I was always topping it up by a litre or so of water.

I got sick of topping it up I went to my local independent garage and we changed the coolant bottle, new sensor, and did a coolant flush. also he pressure tested the system after changing the bottle and the pressure held steady... he commented the engine is not giving any signs of head gasket failure..

Now my top ups are more frequent eg every 2 days with no trace or drips being detected...

Any help or opinions will be greatly appreciated

Did the new coolant bottle come with a new cap? A faulty cap can cause what you describe. The pressure test won't show it up because the cap is removed and the pressure tester takes it's place during the test. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
