Cornering lights. Do they only work i you have AFS?

I have a 2006 HSE 4.4

It has the functions where the lights come on when you corner.
Does this mean i have AFS?

I facelifted the car to 2012 specification.
Temporarily i ran euro "cornering" headlights that where perfect (light came on when you indicated/cornered.

I have now replaced my genuine euro lights with aftermarket ones but the conering bulbs dont seem to iluminate on these (even though i seem to have the wiring and blubs in the light)

Is it because these aftermarket headlights are "non-AFS"?

No. AFS is something different.

Your corner lights should work.

This is what i thought.

Ill look into it. Do those cornering lights only work at night or when the lights are on. ?

Does anyone know which pin/s are the ones on the headlight plug that signals the cornering light?

all sorted now. the bulbs were duff.

new bulbs and all is good. Thumbs Up
