2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Unbelievable, you can go out and buy a £10,000 Dacia or a cruddy BMW/Audi/Merc/ Peugeot/Citroen in fact any other cheap car brand and it just works. Buy a luxury Range Rover and pay a fortune to have it as an optional extra and you get ripped off because the maker is sooooooo slow in approving apps to work in the system. I wonder if the same happens in a cheap and nasty F-Pace 4x4-a-like costing a darn sight less than a Range Rover. Are there any apps now that work with InControl Apps? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

And a mini,,fiesta,,Suzuki, ...... Never mind bmw / merc...

My friends wife has a fiesta,,that reads a text on arrival and allows for dictation of a response pretty accurately.

JLR .... I hear it will be in the 2027 facelift, with the new "I can't touch it in control pro +"

They can't make the oily stuff work properly and they've been doing that for 70 years. You can't expect them to get modern things like apps to work in less than, say, a decade. Whistle Big Cry 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

There are several, some of which are really quite useful: Parkopedia and Hotelseeker being two I use quite a bit, plus Sygic occasionally (although they still haven't got the speed cameras to display despite charging for it).

Excellent another charge for software that doesn't quite work ! SYGIC learning from the masters at JLR. Let's not also forget the accuweather app that tells you the weather anywhere you like right now. It's about as useful as the windscreen for telling the weather !! Rolling with laughter

To be fair, it's not JLR who are writing and developing the apps.

Although the new memo app is written by JLR so I guess they are extending the range of crappy software..
