Help... Parking aid module missing !

Hi everyone. New to this forum, I bought a Range Rover sport tdV8 3.6 a few days ago, only to find the parking sensors do not work, no beeps no lights etc. Can't even press the button on the dash to get a light. So, checked the fuse, No #36 5 amp. All good. Went to boot. Removed rear L/H panel to make sure plugs in module ok.... Found three cables with plugs on but no module ?? 😡 question is what module do I need ?

Cheers peachy, it was a dealer, but I don't hold out too much to be honest. They all sell with these third party warranties.
It's a RRS Td V8. 3.6 HSE year 2008

Shocked not gonna bore you with rules & regs but IMO that is irresponsible & unacceptable - at least give them a taste of your anger - frustration.

Must be at the very least £15k worth of business Whistle

Reverse through their office window & blame the lack of PDC module Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

^^^^ Bow down Bow down
Seriously - hope you get it sorted - if it was removed - WHY - are there other issues - its about 8 years old & a sensor may have failed - loom has water damage - ingress Rolling Eyes

Start with the module & go from there - sensors aren't that expensive but its a bumper off job - not that hard just depends on if the fasteners are rusted etc etc Rolling Eyes

Keep the faith - these motors are sentimental but worth the journey Laughing Laughing 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Go back and tell them the vehicle is not as advertised. The TDV8 had front and rear parking as standard so the vehicle is not as described. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'm with everyone else, I wouldn't spend time or money fixing it myself when its the dealers responsibilty.

Thanks guys....

So far so good, been to dealership this morning and he's said not a problem he will get it looked at. I didn't go into detail with him. Just said they don't work and he said he will sort it. Thanks for your words of wisdom lol I will keep you posted.
