Hello

First post Very Happy

Collected my Range Rover Sport yesterday, a late 2009 TDV8 in Buckingham Blue, black interior with Rhodium trim, low miles for the year and in lovely condition.
I've come from a VW Touareg V6 3.0 TDI which was/is a great car but fancied going back to LR (owned a FL1 before the Treg)

About me... I'm a commercial photographer based just outside Coventry, a keen mountain biker and runner, entering events up and down the country. I tow a Buccaneer twin axle caravan which serves as a great base when i'm off doing outdoorsy stuff. Very much into cars as well as my two spaniel gundogs. I don't shoot myself but enjoy joining in local events, working the dogs doing some beating and picking up plus entering them into the occasional trial.

Looking forward to picking up loads of useful info and making new online friends.

Cheers

Nige

Hi, recently looked in the forum having been interested in a RRS for quite a time.
Recent cars have been Fiat Uno turbo, Renault 5 turbo, Sierra Cosworth, BMW M3.
I'm now in my mid 40s and looking for a RRS 2005 reg, cheaper tax band, 100,000 miles with full history and Ł12,000 to spend.
Looking at this forum it looks like these cars can be quite expensive to maintain and not sure how much on average I would need to keep a side, to spend on Maintenance a year to keep it running well.
I test drove one the other day and fell in love with it, but as usual the dealer does not want to give you a good price for your p/x
It makes me think now looking at the issues it might be worth saving up a bit more money and getting one a bit newer with a warranty, always a lottery I know when buying a car.

England 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zambezi Silver
1 year an owner

Hi all, mooched about the site a number of times over a few years, but now I have a 2005 RRS Supercharged with low mileage on the clock. I have had it 12 months now and love it. I did mean to get it checked and serviced last summer but never got around to it (you know how it is!). So in it went for a svc and mot last week and they still have it trying to fit in all that needed doing between scheduled jobs. Should be getting it back this afternoon after parting with a fair bit of cash Big Cry , but knowing it is in better nick now than before!

I should say I am not new to land Rover, learned to drive in series 2 lwt, owned series 3, 90, 90 turbo, disco 1 and 2 (a few) Defender 110, and now this little beauty.

I do hope to visit more regularly now I am Joined!!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

Hi,
Recently purchased a RSS 1 2012 for our holiday home in Spain. Not sure on the black rims so I have I have ordered a set of 20" Kahn RS600 alloys in Silver. Will post some photos when they arrive.

Anybody like the Golf buggy with 14" alloys ?

I'm using the tyres from the black 20" Supercharged alloys. Can anyone tell me the worth of these 20" supercharged rims as I'm having them shipped back to the UK to sell. They look brand new with no kerbing etc...

Hi everyone,

New to this group, currently a member of the disco3 page.
Currently on the look off for a RRS, any advice on what to look
for on the cars would be a great help.

Introduction

Hello everyone first time on a forum so here goes,

I've just taken delivery of a Range Rover Sport SVR. My dealership in Newport South Wales were great. Initially the delivery was going to be 8 months but had an email to say that it was coming earlier, 6 months, and even had an invitation to see it being built in Solihull. Went there and seen it on the production line and was given a marker pen to sign part of the body and photographs were taken as well. Really looked after on the day.
Previously owned various cars but to note ;
Jaguar s type R 2003
Range Rover Sport Tdv6 2006
Range Rover Sport Supercharged 5.0 L '59 plate
And now the SVR.

I've had a few extras such as Carbon Fibre inside and Engine cover, Head up Display, Soft Close doors, Deployable steps and many other things......couldn't help it in the end but the major thing is every time I drive it I can't stop smiling.

Here it is on day of pick up in the dealership. Hope you like the pics.

That's one good looking car. If only the rims were silver, not black and cheap Rolling with laughter ... Mine are black and I really do not like them this way. Regards etc.,
