Seats, mirrors and windows

So the electric seats have stopped working, along with the mirrors (they still fold in though) and two of the electric Windows. I've checked all the fuses as per the chart and they seem fine. Does anyone have any other ideas before I take it in to the garage to get plugged in to the diagnostic unit?

Hi Beads,

You know the mirrors don't fold automatically don't you ?

You need to centre (rather than it being twisted to the left or right to adjust the appropriate mirror) the adjuster nob and then push it down. This will either fold them in or out.

I had mirror and window issue on passenger side - but fuse kept blowing - bad mirror motor. If fuses are ok - a few other places to look.

Check wiring connectors under passenger front seat (lhd) ...if seat is moved too far forward and cable snags these can come loose.

Did floor get wet from sunroof drain clog ? Could have wiring issues in that case under right sill/carpet

Else you might have bad control unit (under drivers seat) - check all connections first - but these units have been known to require replacement. Good indie should be able
To quickly diagnose based on what is not working and what is...
