Hi Folks,

I have a 2010 3.0 TDV6 RRS Autobiography. The car is an Italian version, so no factory seat heating , just retrofit The fuel burning heater (FBH) seems to have been fitted (it visibly sits under the bonnet, wires are there, exhaust system seems to have been set, etc.) however, it does not seem to be working under 5 degree Celsius, i.e. the exhaust pipe is not hot, no exhasut fume coming from under the engine... The question is whether it is 'easy'/possible to upgrade/reprogramme to make it work without spending a fortune at stealers, who always say btw that factory work must be done... .

Any thought/experience is well appreciated. I will ask my indie first thing on Monday, but wanted to ask if someone has any experience in this respect. I wish you all a Happy New Year

Can retrofit the remote receiver and on screen timed climate. You need an IIDtool or similar to enable it though. Your dealer won't be able to do this. Your indi may possibly have an IID or similar to enable it.
You need to purge and put the FBH through a test sequence using again diagnostics tools. Bodsys Brake Bible
