Which warranty for a noob? (please move it if in wrong sect)

Hi guys,
last hour at the office and finally i am off to enjoy new year with my family (Happy New Year to you all).

I am reading pages and pages during this more relaxed time at the office and after seeing all the possible issues these beautiful cars can give, i am wondering which type of warranty would you guys advice for my car.

I already have the AA cover silver but i assume it won't be of any help.

Any reliable one that doesn't cost a fortune?

Joe. Current: RRS 06 with 115.000miles
Garage: 1967 Shelby GT 500 fully restored with 13.000miles
Garage: 1973 Buick Riviera boat-tail 455 engine with 55.000 original miles

Owned previously for everyday use: BMW X3 3.0d

Wife: 2006 Mini Cooper S (trying to explain her she would look much better on a 80' Defender)

As above- WD.

And haggle-it's not difficult. Was openly laughing when the guy said he had to go and 'check with his manager'... 2012 RRS HSE. Firenze Red.

Got quoted from WD £580.00 per year. The cover says it covers up to 120.000 miles and mine has 117.000. Does it mean that after the specified mileage the cover will no longer be effective? Current: RRS 06 with 115.000miles

You could always put your money in the bank and take your chances! In my experience they are all as bad as each other when it comes to the small print and not paying out. They are in business to make money from us all. If it didn't pay for them to do that they wouldn't be in business.

I think at that age & mileage, a warranty will be useless.

You would be better off putting money aside each month to cover any potential future problems. Thumbs Up 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool
